ROLE DESCRIPTION
As an Investment Banking/Advisory professional you play a critical role in facilitating financial transactions, Investment and Business Advisory, advice on Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, Management Advisory and Succession Planning to Clients. This sector demands individuals with strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex financial markets. 
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including company valuation, financial modeling, and risk assessment. Provide insights into the fiscal health and performance of companies to support investment decisions. Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Assist in the negotiation process and contribute to deal structuring.
• Advice Clients on optimal capital structure, conduct due diligence investigations to assess the financial, legal, and operational aspects of a target company and identify potential risks and opportunities associated with transactions.
• Build and maintain relationships with Clients, understanding their financial needs and strategic objectives and act as a trusted advisor in providing solutions thereof.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Teams to execute financial transactions, coordinate and manage the deal process, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to better provide market insights to Clients for informed decision-making. 
• Offer strategic financial advice to clients, aligning with their investment tenure and goals whilst guiding them to develop business strategies and financial planning.
• Prepare and review transaction documents, including prospectuses, offering memorandum, and legal agreements whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to ensure business growth and development.
 CAPABILITIES
• Proficient in building and interpreting complex financial models.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional Teams.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business performance and growth.
• Knowledge of Company Valuation Techniques including, discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions.
• Ability to use statistical tools and financial models for quantitative analysis.,
• Integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
• Effective negotiation skills for deal structuring and client discussions.
• Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.
• Behavioral capabilities in line with the company’s values

 Qualification
• B. Sc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or other related courses.
• FMVA certification will be an added advantage.
• MBA or MSc will be an added advantage.
• At least 1 professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years industry experience.
