ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Website Manager and SEO Expert will be responsible for the overall management, performance, and optimization of the company’s website.
This role combines strong technical website administration skills with deep expertise in search engine optimization (SEO) to drive traffic, improve rankings, and enhance user experience.
The ideal candidate will be strategic, analytical, and proficient in web technologies and SEO best practices
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, update, and optimize the company website(s) to ensure functionality, speed, and security.

Coordinate content updates, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure seamless user experience across all devices and browsers.

Manage hosting, domain settings, SSL certificates, site backups, CMS (e.g., WordPress, shopify, Wix), plugins, and third-party integrations.

Ensure mobile responsiveness and accessibility standards.

Collaborate with designers, content creators, and developers to maintain website quality and branding consistency.

Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic visibility.

Conduct keyword research, site audits, backlink analysis, and competitor benchmarking.

Optimize site architecture, page speed, meta tags, content structure, internal linking, and mobile performance for SEO.

Implement structured data and schema markup where necessary.

Track, analyze, and report on website performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, tag management systems, and SEO software (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).

Provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates, user engagement, and traffic acquisition.

Monitor and report on SEO KPIs, engagement metrics, and web performance to stakeholders.

Build backlinks and manage link-building campaigns.

Ensure website compliance with data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).

Perform regular backups and work with IT to maintain website security and integrity.

Work closely with marketing, IT, product, and content teams to support campaigns, landing pages, and product launches.

Provide training or support to internal users on CMS and content publishing where needed.

Any other responsibilities as may be assigned to ensure business growth and development.  
CAPABILITIES
Strong technical and analytical skills. Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.

Up-to-date knowledge of SEO trends, algorithm updates, and web technologies.

Good project management and communication skills.

Attention to detail and a passion for performance optimization.
