Akinsola is a Finance Expert with hands-on experience in the Financial Services Industry as Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer. He has made his mark in the industry and has garnered vast experience in business strategy, financial and regulatory reporting, risk management, business infrastructure development, process and policy formulation amongst others.

He is an Executive Director and Chief Finance Officer with Neveah Limited, a commodities trading company located in Nigeria dealing in Base and Minor Metals as well as Agro Commodities. Prior to joining Neveah, he was Group Financial Controller at United Capital PLC. He also worked as Chief Financial Officer with Cordros Capital Limited where he identified and directed strategy that produced significant growth in balance sheet.

Prior to joining Cordros Capital Limited, he served as Financial Controller at Investment One Financial Services Limited (formerly GTB Asset Management Limited) and Senior Finance Officer at Meristem Securities Limited. He also provides professional guidance on audit and risk management issues to CWG PLC in his capacity as the Statutory Audit Committee Chairman.

Akinsola holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Management and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is an Associate Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) and Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI), UK. He is also an authorized dealing clerk of the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX).

He sits on several Boards including Afriquid Finance Limited.
