Festus is a seasoned professional with over three (3) decades of cognate experience in finance, bank examination, research & analysis, receivership & liquidation, project management, consulting, strategy, administration, change management and corporate governance. He is currently an Executive Partner at Green Mount Consulting Limited, a technical capacity building firm with focus on Enterprise Risk Management, Bank Supervision, Islamic Finance, Organisational Renewal & Restructuring, Human Capital Development, Deposit Insurance, Strategy Development and Management.

Prior to this, he worked with the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Commission (NDIC) as Director Strategy Development Department, Assistant Liquidator of Failed Banks, Assistant Director Assets Management and Zonal Director Port Harcourt Zonal Office. He also worked as a Consultant with Rofem Consults Limited; Sales Administrator at Karmi Proteins and Feed Mill Limited and Assistant Accountant at Agrited Limited.

Festus attended several local and international trainings including but not limited to; Balanced Scorecard/Strategy Execution, Palladium, Cambridge, MA, USA; International Reporting Standards, OTA, USA; Risk Management Organised – RIPA International, London; Leadership & Strategy – GTC London, UK; Bank Examination Management School – FIDC Corporate University, Arlington Virginia, USA; Financial Institutions Analysis – Banking School of Federal Reserve, St Louis, USA and Bank Resolution Management; Principles & Best Practices – International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI), Washington DC, USA.

He is currently a PhD (General Management) Candidate at the Nile University, Abuja with research interest in strategy; He holds a Masters in Philosophy degree (MPhil) in Management from Nile University, Abuja; Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance & Banking from Enugu State University of Science & Technology, Enugu and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Finance & Banking from College of Technology Owerri.

Festus has published several papers in local and international journals. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC); Institute of Creative and Innovative Management of Nigeria (FCIMN); Institute of Credit & Risk Management of Nigeria (FICRM) and a Chartered Risk Manager (CRM) of the Chartered Institute of Risk Management Association of Nigeria (CIRM).
