Olubunmi Siyanbola (PhD, FICA)
Olubunmi is a seasoned professional with extensive public sector experience as Economist and Administrator leading several projects, departments and organizations.
She served as the Program Manager, Debt Management Office (DMO) under the World Bank/FGN States Fiscal, Transparency, Accountability and Sustainability Programme. Prior to that, she served as Director, Home Finance – Federal Ministry of Finance; Director, Planning, Research & Statistics – Federal Ministry of Agriculture & Rural Development; Director, Revenue Department – Budget Office of the Federation; Director, Inter-Government Affairs – Federal Ministry of Special Duties & Inter-Governmental Affairs and Director, Air Force Department – Ministry of Defence. She also served severally in acting capacity as the Director General Budget Office of the Federation, where she contributed significantly to the revenue growth of the Federation.
In her capacity as the Director, Home Finance, she served as Chairman of the Agricultural Credit Guarantee Scheme Fund and Nigerian Sustainability Financial Principles Committee (NSFPC), representing the Federal Ministry of Finance and as a Board Member of Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA), Nigerian Export Import Bank (NEXIM), Nigeria Customs Service, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) and The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
She has attended several local and international trainings and received several awards for her selfless service to the Nation, including the National Merit Award by National Forum of Federal Establishments.
Olubunmi holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from University of Ibadan, Masters in Public Administration from the Obafemi Awolowo University and an award of Honorary Doctorate Degree in Accounting & Finance by Escae – Benin University, Cotonou.
